PART-TIME DELIVERY DRIVER
You are professional, cheerful, organized, and care deeply about the safety of others. You work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy problem-solving when the unexpected happens.
This position is responsible for driving-related roles including: the safe, courteous, and timely delivery of customer orders; review of order invoices to ensure complete and successful fulfillment; proper inspection and careful loading of flower orders to ensure quality standards; confident communication with customers via phone to coordinate and confirm delivery details; the ability to record successful deliveries and maintain a mileage log; and occassional shipment pickup and receipt. You may use a personal or company-provided vehicle for deliveries and errands within the Juneau area; said vehicle must be kept clean and clutter-free. You have a cell phone with GPS navigation for mileage tracking.
Part-time positions available, with weekly availability weekdays through Saturday from noon to 4pm. During "floral holidays," scheduling may include mornings, evenings, and Sunday shifts. We do ask for a year minimum commitment of time. It should be noted that this position requires long periods of sitting, some walking, and occassional exposure to dirt and pollen. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required. Position is available immediately.
PART-TIME BRAND REPRESENTATIVE
You are professional, confident, a self-starter, and can wear many proverbial hats. You enjoy interacting with customers and play well with others as part of a busy team. You have an eye for details and design, are open to creative challenges, and know how to see a job through. Sales, retail, and/or floral experience is a plus.
This position entails all things related to flower shop operations including: designing floral arrangements; providing an incredible customer service experience in person and via phone; operating a point-of-sales system; general shop maintenance and upkeep; and assisting with local deliveries as needed. A love for flowers and an artistic eye is just as important to us as a strong work ethic and sense of loyalty and commitment. We rely on each member of our team, as well as each other, to support the success and growth of our small business.
