Q: Where are you located?
A: We're located at 1200 Glacier Ave Suite 101, Juneau, AK 99801 at the corner of West 12th St & Glacier Avenue in the Flats District. We are in the two-story black building commonly referred to as the old Blockbuster building.
Q: What are your shop hours?
A: Monday - Friday 10 am-6 pm and Saturday 10 am-4 pm
Q: The flowers I ordered online did not look exactly like the flowers on your website. Why is that?
A: At Frenchie's, we are in the business of providing very fresh, seasonal flowers so each one of our arrangements is custom made just for you! The flowers and vessels pictured are representative of our style and indicative of approximate size but are not the actual arrangement that will be received. Simply choose your preferred size and vessel style and let our floral design team work their magic! We have gathered an assortment of vessels to choose from in four different styles and hope you will continue to enjoy them long after the blooms expire.
Q: Where do your flowers come from?
A: We source our seasonal blooms from farms located throughout the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, & California to ensure we always have the freshest flowers in town!
Q: How often do you receive new shipments of flowers?
A: We're currently ordering fresh blooms for the shoppe at least once a week, and blooms for all special events and weddings are ordered and shipped separately. While we do indeed pay more for the convenience of extremely freshly cut & shipped flowers, we feel it's well worth it!
Q: How do I care for my fresh flowers?
A: Three easy steps to follow:
1. Keep the vessel filled with fresh, clear water.
2. Keep flowers out of direct heat and sunlight.
3. Clip or remove expired blooms as needed to keep the rest of those beauties looking fresh!
Q: How do I care for my succulents?
A: Each succulent planter is intended to be kept indoors within a temperate climate. Generally, they do best in areas with bright to filtered sunlight. To care for them, let them dry out (but not completely) in between watering days and pluck any dying leaves. Water lightly and take note of how quickly the soil dries out based on its location in your home, i.e. filtered sunlight vs. full sunlight. Repeat watering weekly or every other week. You must get to know the space in which you place your succulents and allow them to adjust to their new environment.
Q: What is your guarantee policy?
A: We guarantee our fresh flowers for 72 hours. Every bloom has a varying life span as a cut flower; some hardy varieties last for weeks at a time, while other precious beauties last just a handful of days. We do our absolute best to mix a variety of long-lasting staples with your more specialty, unique (and often more fragile) stems. If your flowers are having trouble staying happy and hydrated, please reach out and we'll help you troubleshoot! There are rare times when flowers just simply do not last long... especially after their travel north to Alaska. We're here to help you enjoy these beautiful works of nature while appreciating the lesson they offer in the fleeting beauty of life itself - a wonderful reminder that life can be enjoyed in all stages and ages.

Q: How is a delivery charge calculated?
A: Delivery charges are calculated by the distance from the studio. Delivery charges are automatically calculated once the recipient's address has been input at the time of checkout. The final total is available for review and approval prior to entering payment information and order submission. Alternatively, all online orders can be picked up at our shoppe free of charge.
